WHAT IS IT?

Alumiware is a patented device that informs maintenance staff, painters, residents and anyone else who may try to modify or repair your aluminum wiring that there is a different protocol for handling aluminum wiring.

WHY DO I NEED IT?

Your real estate investment could suffer a serious fire hazard due to improper aluminum wiring. Also, if your real estate is an investment property, improper aluminum wiring can prevent loan, or refinancing approvals from moving forward. I have seen it happen. This is why I invented this product.

All of these thing have happened to me after my company paid a lot of money to have qualified electricians work inside occupied apartments. After bringing a property up to code for the purpose of preventing fire hazards, complying with loan requirements, and hoping to avoid a retrade at the time of sale the property needs to stay in compliance. Even the expensive COPALUM method of repair has been cutout by unknowing residents installing their own ceiling fan in the apartment. Just one location of improper aluminum wiring can cause a fire and thousans of dollars of damage. In my experience several locations will be out of compliance within five years after an aluminum wiring project.
